Brownie Candy
This is an easy recipe that older children can make, or young children, with a little help.
Brownie Candy
Mix: 1 box German Chocolate Cake Mix, 3/4 cup melted butter, 1/3 cup evaporated milk and 3 oz. chocolate chips.
Press half of dough into a 9 by 13 inch pan.
Melt over low heat: 1-14 oz. pkg. caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk.
Spread caramel mixture over dough in pan.
Spread remaining dough over the caramel layer, as well as possible.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
